(c)2003 DTM gamesThis is version 3 of a chess engine I have been making.*Negamax depth search with alpha-beta pruning*Castling (player and AI)*Pawn promotion (player and AI)*Improved AI*Save/Load game (keys S/L)*4 game modes: White Vs AI, Black Vs AI, Two player, Spectator*Speech!*Nice graphics...On most PCs run Dchess at search depth 3, but if you have a 2GHZ machine try it higher...Dchess has held out against GNUchess for 26 moves at 3-ply search depth, 33 moves at 4-ply...this is quite good seeing as Dchess uses no opening books or transposition tables, and GNUchess is of "strong master strength", searching an average of 7-ply...Still to come: transposition table, en passent, stalemate, better board evaluation, AI time limit...
