A new sonic style game
Dear all.
I have been approached by a somewhat successful youtuber who makes 8bit game mashup videos to help with making a sonic style game.
Do we have any willing volunteers to help make it happen?
I will start a github project and anybody who wants to join in can do!

Hm, why not. I have many gfx tiles for a sonic like game. I prefer the gfx from the msx-2 version (or Sonyc).
Here some infos about that game: http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonyc
i made a Sonic fangame preview in DIV but i don't have the source anymore. See: http://div-arena.co.uk/wips/view/620

For "recovery" the PRG, but with DIV2 is not possible unfortunately.

Yes Mike, I could try to end the decompiler for DIV1 later, but for DIV2 we can not do anything unfortunately.

Why decompiling when we can rewrite/programm it again? A Sonic like control isn't very hard.
