While watching the game I totally wanted France to win, but that was against my bet! Maybe Cavani's injury and lack of a substitute disarmed Uruguay,
because this was a rather dull match. France was convincing for the first time in the tournament, but against a disadvantaged opponent they didn't
need to deliver much.
Excellent first half from Belgium but then Brazil got the hang of it. And it didn't look like Belgium started defending their lead, it looked more
like Brazil just took the wheel. Belgium lost pretty much every 1-on-1. Well, apart from the last 20 minutes when Belgium definitely went full
defense.

These pairs should be a no brainers but slightly afraid that England will bottle it. They have the keys.
The referee will probably get a call from Putin at some point but if Putin is busy, Croatia will keep their goal empty.

Did England play this boring during group stage? Because they're starting to be a bit boring, albeit smart and continue winning. Sweden did
naturally get a few chances at scoring, but I think Sterling may have lost more chances than all of Sweden's combined.
Russia put completely unexpectedly a very good show, maybe their best. The match could had gone either way and deservedly so. Croats have so much
talent in that team and they managed to put that into good use in the start of the tournament, but why do their "game sense" and even ball control
look amateurish at times now? Have they lost their nerve? I don't think they have much chances against England if they continue playing like this. The
coach has a lot to do.

Even though France was indeed more convincing against Uruguay than in any other match, Belgium is just going to win the tournament. Because I like
them and because they deserve it, right? So, I wanted to bet France 0 - 1 Belgium.
HOWEVER, mom says it's going to be France 2 - 1 Belgium and moms are always right, right?

I don't know what to say. France has totally sailed all the way to the final, and once again they just showed up, defended, got a goal and went home.
Fckuing France. Complete bastard moves in the end. So let's shame them: Giroud still hasn't managed to land a single shot at an enemy goal. For a
forward that's played in all the matches in a team that's in playing in the final it's an incredible achievement. Fckuing France.
But have to admit, France seem to be very hard to beat and I'm slightly afraid England/Croatia might not find a way.

Croatia 1 - 1 England (Croatia wins after ET 2-1)
Believing in England is masochism and some don't learn. Suppose it even was always there, since after the promising group stage their game got a bit
boring and almost lost to Colombia in pretty much the same fashion. I mean England did play more exciting in group stage, didn't it? First half looked
good, but then came second half... while there's nothing wrong with defending a lead against a dangerous opponent, by giving up on attacking
completely the opponents chances improve vastly. See Belgium - Brazil how it's suppose to be done, sans the last 10 or so minutes.
Suppose France will be a bit like England on steroids with their, I think, more potent (counter)attack and more refined defending. Croatia's three
last games have went ET/penalties, and that's quite a lot. It should be easy peasy?
Bronze game better be all fireworks. Then again Belgium hasn't ever got a medal from the WC and England's last medal is from 1966. I hope they still
won't resort to playing it safe.

Kind of a lackluster match, nothing to write home about. England did have the few opportunities that every team has, but/and overall I feel like
England underplayed their hand. I'm looking at you coach Well Dressed. And Sandman knew this - did he get help from Duhr's mom? Maybe he should be
disqualified? With that seven point lead he must be partying hard already, with Duhr's mom.
Dave needs a perfect bet as well, but since Sandman and Duhr have the same bets, I think they're getting their bets from the same all-knowing place
