Good thanks, and you?
SO what's the plan?
I've been trying out a few game programming options on my Raspberry PI and can't seem to find anything that lives up to the DIV experience. Is it
possible to get DIV running on a Pi?

Yes indeed DIV runs great on a PI. Which pi do you have? I can put something together for you or teach you how to compile it yourself.

Excelllent! Thanks Mike.
I have a Raspberry Pi 4 model B
I know DIV works on Linux because I used to have it on an old Ubuntu machine. I remember there were a few steps to getting it up and running but I
can't remember all that console stuff. Chmod is my limit and I tried that but no luck. So basically, I'd be grateful for either the ready to go
package or a much needed lesson in how to set it up myself.
On another note, I'm surprised that the Pi foundation people don't package DIV themselves seeing as they are so big on getting people coding. It
beats Pygame and pgzero hands down. Maybe you should have a word.

@RaverDave. For what it's worth I don't think anything is happening on the development front these days, but at least DIV mostly works as it stands.
Mode 8 has a few example programs in the help system which, to be honest, is all one would need to get the hang of it. There isn't that much to
learn.

DIV isn't being actively working on, however I still plan to get a few things added at some point and finish up a few loose ends.
Network connectivity is one
Being able to export for a few more platforms is definitely on the cards but requires some time. I'd like to create a retroarch core as that will
bring a lot of eyes on us and to be able to create games for airconsole (web). I've done some primary work on this with a default phone controller. It
looks really promising!

All the mode8 documentation is available in the help (API and editor), there is also an example in the help that allows you to navigate in a fairly
large world of mode8, what is known today is some small bug present that with some tricks can be avoided.
