Rally Fever Pre-Beta

Hi everyone! This is my second project and probably the only one i'll finish! 
GTA Example was just a game too dificcult to make, due to all the variables the program has to handle, like traffic, pedestrian paths and such, which would make the game as slow as a three-legged turtle.
So I tried to do another type of game, like racing. I downloaded Viper Racing 2, of Ian Nicholas, to help me do some of the physics part (I hope he doesn't get mad!). When I understanded what the code did, I enhanced it, so that the car handling could be more controllable and realistic. 
I decided to make a game like Colin Mcrae, with a good balance between Arcade and Simulation, which is the best choice, I think. The first thing I realized was that I couldn't possibly do non-looped tracks like in Colin Mcrae, because it would require huge amounts of memory for the maps, so I'll have to make closed tracks, but don't worry, they will be quite big. If I have the time, I think the game will turn out great!

You can play with day or night conditions in a very small asphalt track (the tracks will be much bigger than this, so don't panic!) I think you'll like the special effects like the turbo fx and the headlights.

***Stuff to come***

- menus to choose vehicles and tracks
- a track or two with different terrain types which will have impact in   the car's performance and control
- two player mode (this will be fun!)
- better detailed landscapes

Maybe some car behaviour bugs

***Controls***

Press D or N at the beginning to choose day or night conditions

up arrow: accelerate
down arrow: brake
left arrow: turn left
right arrow: turn right
