Superkarts read me

Thank's for downloading my game. It's a pretty complete program, but a read
me is probably needed.

Features:
	Three different gamemodes to play: Single Race, Tournament and Battle
	You can choose to play a quick race or set up every setting
	The weaponset can be changed and every player could have his own weaponset
	Time trial with replay and courseghosts
	29 Regular Weapons and several secret weapons
	19 regular tracks and 5 tournaments
	Built-in Track maker to make a single track
	Sprite and sound check
	1-4 Players playing at the same time

You'll start the game with supkart.exe. 
Start setup.exe to set up the sound card if you want to.

Choices in the main menu:
Quick Race: Let's you do a single race with 3 laps and 6 contestants
Quick Battle: Let's you do a battle with 3 lives and 4 contestants
Advanced Setup: Set up every setting and play every way you want
Time Trial: Let's you play the time trial
Quick Tournament: Let's you do a tournament with 3 laps and 6 contestants
Check the images: Let's you view the images in the game. Use the cursors to see them.
Sound test: play all the sound and music in the game.

Controls players:
Keyboard 1: 	Left/Right cursorkey: Steer
		Up cursorkey: Accelerate
		Shift: Fire weapon
		Enter: Powersliding
Keyboard 2:	Ctrl/Space bar: Steer
		Caps Lock: Accelerate
		Tab: Fire Weapon
		Z: Powersliding
Joystick:	Left/Right: Steer
		A-Button: Accelerate
		B-Button: Fire Weapon
		C-Button: Powersliding
Mouse:		Move mouse: Steer
		"numeric *"- and "numeric -"-Button: Steer
		Left Mousebutton: Accelerate
		Right Mousebutton: Fire Weapon
		"numeric *" and move mouse: Powersliding to the left
		"numeric -" and move mouse: Powersliding to the right
The same controls are used in the select character mode.

Advanced Setup:
The first menu let's you change the number of CP-players, the gamemode
and the way you pick up power-ups. It also let's you change the weaponset.
To change the weaponset press Space bar when you the choice: "Change Weaponset"
is highlighted.
Remember that number 0 is the default weaponset and can't be changed!

The second menu let's you change the number of laps/lives and the difficulty
of the computer. You can also change the weaponset individually for every contestant.

Track builder:
The track builder isn't hard. It's comparable with Rollercoaster Tycoon.
Left Curve, Straight, Right curve: Place a new part of the road
+1,0,-1: Indicate if the track goes up, down or is flat.
Recycle bin: Removes last placed part.
press Enter to Save track and return

Regular Weapons:
You can change those weapons in the weaponset menu.
Horn: If you don't have a weapon you'll use the horn to horn.
!-item: Bullies all the other human players with a bad camera view.
1-3 Speedboosts: Let's you use 1 to 3 speedboosts. Don't drive into a wall!
Armageddon: Meteors will fall out of the sky
Arrow: Shoot 1-2 arrows in to the wall. They explode when touching a kart.
Banana Bomb: Let's you drop 5 bouncing banana's who will explode.
BFG9000: Powerful but inaccurate bullet which has to be charged first
Boobytrap: Let's you spin automatically.
Donkey: This donkey smashes the player who's ranked first for a short time.
Dynamite: Let's you drop a dynamite
Ghost: Steal a weapon and become invincible and invisible for a short time.
Green Shell: let's you fire the green shell from Mario Kart
Homing Rocket: Let's you fire a homing rocket.
Mine: The mine from Worms
Mystery: Let's you use 3 random items
Pacman: An explosive pacman
Pinball: Let's you fire a bouncing pinball
Red Shell: Let's you fire the red shell from Mario Kart
Sheep: Let's you fire an explosive sheep from Worms
Sheep Frenzy: Let's you fire 8 sheeps in 8 directions
Shot: Let's you fire a single shot who penetrates through almost everything
Shot ring: Let's you fire 8 shots in 8 directions
Snowman Bullet: Let's you fire a snowman bullet who change every kart in a snowman.
Spiked Shell: The shell from Mario Kart goes to the player who's ranked first
Star: Becomes invincible for a short time or until you hit a zipper
Thunder: Electrifies all players
Uzi: Let's you fire 16 shots after each other

Secret Weapons:
These weapons can't be changed in the weaponset and the more powerful they are the rarer
they are.
Big Ghost: If you don't have a weapon the big ghost steals one for you.
Igloo: Freezes all players for a short time
Fairy: In a battle you'll restore your 3 balloons
Golden Donkey: This Donkey smashes the player who's ranked first the entire match, unless you're ranked first.
Guardian Angel: Becomes invincible the entire match
Sentry Gun: Let's you drop a sentry gun who tries to shoot all other karts.
Teleport: Teleports you in front of the finish

Problems
Problem: Game doesn't start
Reason: You have Windows XP installed
Solution: This program doesn't run on Windows XP, so try multibooting or
a virtual dos program.

Problem: Game doesn't start or gives message: "Missing div32run.dll"
Reason: Div32run.dll is missing or wrong version
Solution: Download div2e.dll from www.div-arena.com and rename it to Div32run.dll

Problem: Game freezes
Reason: Game patch isn't used.
Solution: Download the patch for Div 2 games at www.div-arena.com which wasn't
available when the game was released.

Problem: No sound
Reason: Game patch is not used or soundcard isn't set up correctly.
Solution: Download the patch for Div 2 games at www.div-arena.com which wasn't
available when the game was released. If that doesn't work, reconfigure the
sound with setup.exe

Problem: Certain File is missing
Solution: Check what file is missing. You'll have to redownload the game and unzip it again.

Problem: The game stops during time trial
Reason: A replay/course ghost has some illegal information
Solution: Delete the X.rpl file and you'll be fine.

Bugs
Sometimes when starting a battle you'll get an error. Have no idea why.
Computerplayer might get stuck in the level. You can press space bar to skip the waiting
for the player to finish.
In some levels the screen sometimes drops out and you can't follow yourself. It has to do with the fact
the camera wasn't in a sector.
Track 18 has problems with course ghosts and replays. Also the teleport weapon doesn't work properly.
